Ready to work together? Great! I’ll add you to my calendar and send over a simple contract you can sign. I require a $250 deposit up front which goes toward your total cost. Once you’re on the calendar, we can start chatting specifics! We can talk over the phone or in person if you’re in the Birmingham area. I want to hear what you are envisioning for your wedding, what special elements you hope to include in the ceremony or wedding day, and anything else that makes you excited, nervous or unsure. I’ll also email you a Google Doc that has space for you to fill out all sorts of details that will help make your wedding as smooth as possible.

Feel free to ask me anything in the months leading up to your wedding and I’ll do my best to advise or suggest options for you! During the planning process we can confirm your ceremony order for songs and how you want everyone to stand, create a layout for your reception floor plan, and finalize your day-of schedule. We will talk through the event from start to finish to ensure no detail is overlooked. Two to three weeks out, we’ll have our final meeting to ensure I know everything I need to know about your wedding. This is the time to discuss any last minute changes, details, and final plans before the actual wedding so that I can answer any questions that come up from caterers, florists, musicians, wedding party or anyone else that weekend.

This is the fun part! I’ll direct your wedding rehearsal from start to finish. I’ll explain to your wedding party and family what to expect on the big day, I’ll have the wedding party stand in their assigned places for you and your fiancé to approve, we’ll practice the processional and recessional, have your minister walk through the order of events in the ceremony (if they are there, otherwise I can cover that also). We’ll make sure everyone is on the same page and feels prepared for the wedding day.

On the wedding day itself, I’ll be there all day - ready to help with any last minute preparations, answer any and all questions, bring you snacks, tell you how beautiful you look, deliver checks to vendors, make sure you stay hydrated, help keep schedule for the day, make sure you know when to get away, help pack up all the presents and take down the decorations, and so on and so forth. I’m there to help and to act so you don’t have to stress!
